It is in the works, from what I’ve heard. Also GTR Lighting is looking at launching an all new LED headlight product line that should include a 5.75″ version as well. Have you seen the JW Speaker 8630 that is already out? It would fit any 5 3/4″ headlight:

There is so much more involved to make HID work and halogen is so simple in comparison. It is just the price to pay for the better light.
